Information We Collect
- On-device data: bookmarks, last-read location, zikr counts, reminder schedules, prayer time settings, app preferences. This data remains on your device unless you back it up or share it.
- Diagnostic data: anonymized analytics and crash reports from third parties (e.g., Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics) such as app version, device model, OS version, and error logs; not used to personally identify you.
How We Use Information
- Provide core features: reminders, prayer times, Qibla direction, bookmarks, last-read.
- Monitor performance and reliability; prioritize fixes and improvements.
Permissions
- Notifications/Alarms: schedule reminders and prayer notifications.
- Location & Sensors (Compass): determine Qibla and compute prayer times when enabled.
- Storage/Files (read-only assets): access bundled Quran pages/audio where applicable.
- Audio: play adhan/reminder sounds.
Data Sharing
- We do not sell personal data.
- Third-party processors: analytics/crash reporting providers (e.g., Firebase by Google). Their handling is governed by their own privacy policies.
Data Retention
- On-device data remains locally and is removed when you uninstall the App (unless restored from a backup).
- Diagnostic data is retained per third-party provider policies.
Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect information. The App is primarily offline, reducing external data transmission.
Your Choices
